SARA FOST PICTURES was established in 2016 by Allison White. Based in Newfoundland, the most easterly province in Canada, SFP focuses on making cinematic television and narrative feature films intended for a theatrical release.

Allison White is an award-winning producer whose films have screened at festivals across the world including the Toronto International Film Festival, the Fantastic Film Festival and Cannes. Her first feature film, Cast No Shadow swept the awards at its Canadian premiere at the Atlantic Film Festival, taking home six awards including Best Feature Film and Best Director. It went on to receive four nominations at the Canadian Academy Awards including Best Motion Picture. Christian Sparkes’ Hammer starring WILL PATTON and MARK O’BRIEN released in Spring 2020. She is in post production on Mark O’Brien’s The Righteous (Henry Czerny) and Evan Morgan’s, The Kid Detective (Adam Brody), the latter of which she is the Co-Producer. Allison is an alumnus of the Rotterdam Lab, Whistler’s Feature Project Lab, and IFP’s No Borders in New York, and sits on the board for the Canadian Media Producer’s Association.
